Two bars in Valencia have a dated chess evening behind them. At the Campoamor bar, on the street of the same name, CHESSNGO holds a weekly blitz tournament on Wednesday evenings: sign-up in advance, a small entry that includes a soft drink, a reduced one for under-sixteens, and a cap on the number of players. At Bola en Mano, in Plaza Xuquer, the Games in Mano Meetup group has announced a chess evening on the terrace, with boards on hand and an entrance fee that also covers the board games people bring.

The other bars on this list come from a single undated page, the CHESSNGO list of spots where the players of the city meet: Bar Mi Oficina and Bar Levante, where the same organiser says it holds tournaments, Café Tendur near the Plaza del Cedro and Gestalguinos, on Carrer del Poeta Liern.
