Chess for a university's or a school's own people 3

Three entries on this list are not open to whoever turns up. Two are tournaments of the Universitat Politècnica de València. Its sports department held the internal championship of the 2025-26 year in November 2025, in the multipurpose room of the campus Trinquete, for members of the sports service or people who had paid the competition fee; the first man and the first woman may go on to represent the UPV at the regional university championship. Apart from it stands the Torneo de Ajedrez de la UPV, organised with the telecommunications school and the Valencian federation and played twice so far, in May 2024 and in September 2025, by staff, teaching staff and students.

The third is a class inside a school. At Colegio Pío XII a company that runs after-school activities teaches chess to the school's pupils on Thursdays and Fridays, by year group, from October to May, and publishes the fee for the course. No chess club of the city's public universities was found on a page we could open, and the inter-university championship, which moves from campus to campus, appears only among the tournaments. These entries are here for the students, staff and families already inside; everyone else will find open doors in the lists of clubs and classes.
