What the status rests on

The bases published on the Club Deportivo Basilio site on 12 August 2026 call the Torneig Escolar d'Escacs Sant Marcel·lí 2026 a stage of the federation's Circuito de Ajedrez Base, run by the FACV and the C.A. Ciutat Vella on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 11:00 in the Plaza Julio Ciges Marín, next to the church (six Swiss rounds at 7 min + 3 s, not rated, federation school or full licence required). A report of 21 September 2026 says it was played within the neighbourhood festivities with the residents' association. Earlier editions were not seen.
